Our history
JNN Advocates LLP was founded in 2007 by Mr. Jason Namasake EBS as J.N.Namasake & Co, with a specialised focus on Employment, Labour and Industrial Relations. It has since its establishment expanded its offering covering a vast array of practice areas and maintained a solid reputation for legal excellence, becoming one of Kenya’s most highly regarded law firms across the business and legal land scape. We are founded on the principles of professionalism, Integrity and Partnership
Our FOUNDING PHILOSOPHY
Mr. Jason Namasake EBS is the Founding and Managing Partner at JNN Advocates. He has over 40 years of professional experience in Law and is widely regarded as an authority in Employment, Labour and Industrial Relations, Corporate Commercial Banking, Conveyancing and Finance Law.
Mr Namasake has represented many clients on a wide array of matters and has had made an indelible contribution in jurisprudence both locally and regionally.
He served the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE), as a senior principle executive officer where he developed and implemented a wide array of progressive sector policies. Mr Namasake is equally credited with the formulation and execution of countless high-level training activities covering, corporate governance, management, employment and labour relations.
He also served the Republic of Kenya as a Commissioner in the inaugural Salaries and Remuneration Commission established under Article 230 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 where he together with others made important contribution in the formulation, development and deployment of various policies touching on remuneration within the Kenyan labour market.
He equally served as a member of the Akiwumi Tribunal having been appointed by the President of the Republic of Kenya to investigate Court of Appeal judges.
Beyond his service to the Nation and private practice where he continues to advise and represent clients on a number of consequential matters, Mr Namasake has for over 20 years taught Law and mentored young lawyers at both the University of Nairobi, and the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
In recognition of his distinguished and outstanding services rendered to the Nation in various capacities and responsibilities, Mr Namasake was on the 12th December 2017 conferred by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces with the award and honour of Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear (EBS)
Mr Namasakes career spanning more than 40 years is founded on Integrity, Humility and Dedication to Service, these are the values that form the foundation of JNN Advocates LLP.
